Shrewsbury Rally – November 2025

Another fantastic rally at Beaconsfield Holiday Park with 8 vans making the trip to Shrewsbury.  This was the last rally of the year and also included the Club’s AGM on the first night, followed by a delicious 3 course Christmas dinner in The Croft.

This lovely 5* site is set in beautiful grounds with an indoor swimming pool and steam room (payable separately), as well as a well stocked fishing lake which you can fish for £7 per day/rod.  There is also a fantastic onsite restaurant, The Croft, which is open Tuesday – Sunday serving light bites, delicious mains and also breakfast on Sunday as well as Sunday lunch.  Bookings are advisable, especially in peak season.

A 15 minute stroll down the park’s drive takes you to the main road where you can catch the hourly bus service to Shrewsbury or alternatively you can use an Uber which costs between £10-£20 depending on the time of day and demand at that time.  A little further down the road is another pub serving food and a small convenience store.

A failed clutch en-route for one member and Covid for another meant a couple of members who had booked could not make it. The site manager looked after us very…
